Paris In Plantsville Resident Artist Eric Stegmaier has set up a new website, and we want to invite you to give it a look -
And also make sure to join us in April when Eric and another Resident, Sean Michanczyk, hold a show together -
Opens April 14 and runs to May 1, 2012. Pinxit presents some 20 traditional and trompe l’oeil works completed by the award-winning artists over the past two years.
Michanczyk’s trompe l’oeils, with their rich palettes and traditional themes, successfully blend a Baroque style with modern materials and subjects.
Stegmaier’s work explores a vast range of natural, historical, and literary subjects in both charcoal and oils. His style, self-described as being “loosely tight”, reflects compositional complexity and attention to detail.
